Claude Code NZ

Community

Join the New Zealand Claude Code community.

This is for people who want to learn in public, compare practical workflows, and build a strong local network around AI-assisted software delivery.

What to expect

  • Practical demos over sales pitches.
  • Welcoming sessions for both experienced engineers and new builders.
  • NZ-friendly timing and examples.
  • Clear photography consent and respectful event norms.

Ways to take part

Attend

Come to a meetup, bring a question, and compare workflows with people building in similar conditions.

Demo

Share a five to ten minute walkthrough of a Claude Code workflow, experiment, or production lesson.

Host

Offer a venue, sponsor simple catering, or help run a city session in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch.

Code of conduct

Keep it useful and respectful.

The community expects generous listening, no harassment, no spam, and no pressure to share private code or client details. Demo the shape of your workflow without exposing sensitive information.

Founding phase

Help set the standard.

Early members can help choose venues, define repeatable meetup formats, collect resources, and make sure the NZ chapter starts with a useful rhythm.
